3 July / Out of Place, St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden, London
8pm. A one-off gala performance of new musical works. The Out of Place project explores how contemporary poetry on the themes of displacement and new beginnings can be used as an inspiration for musical composition. Includes my poem ‘The Day the Songs Escaped’. Tickets here.

3 Dec / Woolly Hat Fair, Winchester
In a pop-up pear orchard created by fashion and textiles students from Winchester School of Art, Live Canon perform sonnets, haikus, fables and rhyming couplets commissioned on the theme of a festive riddle: how did the partridge come to be in the pear tree? Opens with my poem, ‘The One’.

Actors from the Live Canon ensemble perform the 25 works shortlisted for the Live Canon 2016 International Poetry Prize, including my poem ‘Rebel / Cause’.

One of 50 sponsored poets, each performing for 8 minutes in an 8-hour event – a fundraiser for Médecins Sans Frontières.
