‘Desert Dewdrop’ in Black Swan Arts Open exhibition

Delighted to have a painting ‘Desert Dewdrop’ (from the series Horses Laughing in the Face of Danger), selected for the Black Swan Arts Open exhibition in Frome, Somerset, which runs from Friday 21 October to Saturday 19 November 2016.

The curators/judging panel included artists Gavin Turk and Lawrence Nash, as well as Lucy MacDonald, Associate Director of Hauser & Wirth’s Somerset gallery and Suzanne Bisset, Director of Bruton Art Factory.

From the work I saw at last night’s launch and private view, it looks like a varied and interesting exhibition. The gallery was packed out for the launch, so I’ll return in a few days for a fuller exploration.
